Rencontres Mondiales du Logiciel Libre 2007

Amiens, on May 7th 2007 The city of Amiens will receive this year the eighth Libre Software Meetings (LSM) from 10 to 14 July 2007 in the buildings of the University of Picardy Jules Verne and ESIEE.

This year, the LSM are organized by a local non-profit association called EPPLUG (a French non-profit association in Picardy composed of members using Linux and Libre Software), a national non-profit association called APRIL (non-profit association for promotion and search for Libre Software). Two non-profit associations close to EPPLUG also help for this demonstration : CLX (Club Linux Nord-Pas de Calais) and Oisux (A non-profit Association of Libre software in the region of Oise).

These meetings are composed of several complementary main lines • Meetings between designers and developers coming for talks on their projects in a friendly environment • A sensitivity for free software which is destined to a general public • An opportunity for businesses, non-profit associations… to discover new attractive solutions...
